OK first things first! Let's make a list of things to do:
- Make templates
- Make categories
- Upload content
For the categories we need scientific names and also some attributes like "curly spines", "short spines", etc. Please discuss what you think the notable features of a cactus will be because we'll need to have some of these from the start if this is to be an identification resource. - What book shall we follow in the taxo-part? A taxobox-template is something we need, why not copy the one from en:wp? Christer Johansson 18:20, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- I was also going to suggest wikipedia since it's free. Let's do that and we might modify it later to be more cacti-relevant. Alex.g 18:24, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

- Yes we certainly need to trim it down before we add anything new. I suggest we call it a Template:Cactusbox. Alex.g 18:51, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
