Hello I'm Alex.g.

I started this wiki because I realised that many sites offering help with the identification of cacti are hard to navigate. I believe the Categories feature of wikis are ideal for representing a taxonomy tree, and also for grouping together cacti by similar features / attributes. The purpose of Cactopedia is to be easy to navigate and to link to other places where there are more information on various cacti. Also, I want to see Cactopedia reflect alternative and obsolete classifications as well as common names.
